Hanga Roa Chile

Hanga Roa is the primary town, port, and capital of Easter Island, which is a province of Chile. It is situated in the southern region of the island's western coast, in the lowlands between the extinct volcanoes of Terevaka and Rano Kau. The population of 3,304 (as per the 2002 census) makes up 87 percent of the island's total population.
